Hey friends! November is going to be amazing!
We’re excited to hit the road next week! We have shows in Chicago,  Rock Island,  & Minneapolis… if you are in the area we hope to see you!

Another special surprise, we are stopping by Daytrotter to record a session and hang out with the crew!! We’ll be recording a live performance of a couple songs that haven’t been released yet…. a little preview of our forthcoming album for you to download! We Love Daytrotter!! There are thousands of songs by some of our favorite artists, available for download in their archives. And we couldn’t be more excited to stop by for a session!

Write me back to LA…

While we were on tour last April, we had the chance to grab coffee & iced tea at  Intelligentsia with Gia Hughs, of Proxart Magazine. First off – the cafe is so beautiful! We sat on the blue/white mosaic, that tiled the outdoor seating area….and talked back and forth with Gia about travels, adventures, music, LA, Mpls, and just life! A perfect first stop in LA!

That same night we played the Silverlake Lounge, just up the block. Gia and Benjamin Hunter (photographer extraordinaire)  stuck around after our performance to capture us frame by frame, walking around the Silverlake neighborhood. You can look into our conversation, from the interview, at  Proxart Magazine’s website…. and see the pics as well!! (my fave is of a mural that reminded us of our pup, Carlos)

Summer time in the studio… hard at work for ya! We’ve been recording our next album at Flowers Studio in Mpls, with Peter Anderson. It is an amazing space, an old greenhouse converted into a recording studio…. skylights, vintage instruments, and even a water dish for a our little pup!
